Established in 1950, The Beijing Film Academy is China's only professional film school and is Asia's largest film resource center. With a vast and diverse history the academy has cemented its place around the world and has seen prestigious graduates as Zhang Yimou, Chen Kaige, Jia Zhangke and Xie Fie pass through its doors. Currently, there are over 2,300 students, 48 of which are studying PhD's, 422 for their Masters and 1,894 are studying their undergraduate degrees.
The school is equipped with four professional studios that contain the latest in state-of-the-art equipment from the industries top suppliers such as ARRI, Red, Sony, Kino Flo, Panther and Steadicam. Modern Post-production and color grading facilities are also available such as Quantel and Da Vinci.
